Apogee Names Kevin Reichle Chief Operating Officer to Drive Operational Excellence

Austin, TX – August 4, 2020 – In a move to accelerate the company’s operational excellence and growth, Apogee, the only managed technology services provider solely focused on higher education, has appointed Kevin Reichle as Chief Operations Officer (COO). Reichle brings over two decades of proven results in driving growth strategies and delivering exceptional service to customers, including most recently as Chief of Staff for software solutions provider Accruent.

As COO, Reichle will ensure operational excellence in daily business operations as well as drive strategy and strategic initiatives to ensure Apogee has the right operations, processes, teams, and resources to meet customer needs today and into the future. Strategic initiatives include partnerships, such as the company’s recently announced analytics partnership with Degree Analytics.

“Kevin is a proven leader who brings a combination of operational expertise, outstanding customer service and inspirational vision and leadership to the COO role,” said Chuck Brady, CEO, Apogee. “Apogee looks forward to realizing the full potential that Kevin’s impressive experience represents for our business. His appointment bolsters our ongoing commitment to deliver outstanding services to our customers, particularly through continual operational excellence.”

Reichle combines a deep understanding of the higher education landscape with experience in multiple operational roles. As Chief of Staff at Accruent, he oversaw IT, Business Systems, Enterprise PMO, and Strategic Programs. Prior to his Chief of Staff role, he was General Manager of Telecom, Vice President of Business Operations, and Vice President of People and Talent at the company. He has also held finance, operations, and strategy leadership roles at Dun & Bradstreet and Hoover’s Online.

“The opportunity to serve on the executive team of the only managed service provider focused on higher education — and help deliver on my passion for education — was something I couldn’t turn down,” said Reichle. “In my previous role working with university leaders, I witnessed the passion they had for student success. They cared about making a difference in students’ lives through better technology. I see that same passion at Apogee. We’re all in this together. It’s thrilling to know that as Apogee’s COO, I will play an important role in further empowering our university partners to not just get through the current COVID-19 crisis, but to rise above it and create lasting change so they can fulfill their mission to students for years to come.”

Reichle’s passion for ensuring student success through education extends beyond his everyday working career. He sits on the Board of Directors of two schools, the Austin Classical School in Austin, Texas, and the Makarios School in the Dominican Republic, a school which is dedicated to breaking the cycle of generational poverty through education.

Reichle has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from The University of Texas at Austin – The Red McCombs School of Business.
