Dave Fuhrmann

Biography

Dave has over 40 years of experience in IT, including infrastructure design, cloud computing, and information security. He is the vice president of cloud and security solutions at Apogee and was co-founder and past president of Cumulus Technology Services, Inc., a company known for its extensive cloud services and higher education experience in the California Community College (CCC) space. Apogee acquired Cumulus in 2022. At Cumulus, Dave focused on short-term outsourced IT management services, technology strategic planning, as well as assessments and planning in the areas of cloud computing and information security. Prior to founding Cumulus, Dave worked for 20 years at Ventura County Community College District (VCCCD), including 11 years as the associate vice chancellor of IT / chief technology officer. VCCCD was recognized as a technology leader in the CCC system.
