Austin, TX – March 13, 2018 – Apogee, higher education’s largest provider of managed technology services, has named Malcolm White as Vice President of Business Development. Prior to joining Apogee, Mr. White spent nine years as Director of Business Development at Huron Consulting’s Higher Education’s Division. White is uniquely qualified for this role, bringing with him over 30 years of sales, sales management, change management and client services experience for the corporate and consultancy sectors. As Vice President of Business Development, White will work with the executive leadership team at Apogee and report to Executive Vice President Matt Loecke. He will focus on collaborating with university leaders on how to best harness technology to achieve their strategic plans.
In his singular, national role at Huron Consulting Group (higher education’s largest consultancy), White served higher education institutions in the areas of strategy development, financial and operational improvement, research administration and technology. During his nine years, he assisted executives at thirty-two universities to develop, manage and execute the change needed to help them achieve their strategic plans.
Prior to Huron, White was a Strategic Relationship Manager with Deloitte for five years where he played a strategic role in the business development process for Deloitte’s Enterprise Risk Services, Financial Advisory Services, and Tax functions.
