Raise your hand if you haven’t been to a live in-person conference in, oh, 19 months! I look back on the 2019 EDUCAUSE Annual Conference with nostalgia – no suspicious coughs, hand sanitizer, or masks in sight. We had no idea it would be two years before we would get to experience it again.
I know I speak for everyone at Apogee when I express how thrilled we are that we will be live and IN-PERSON (vaccinated and masked!) at this year’s EDUCAUSE Annual Conference in Philadelphia on October 26-29. I hope you plan on attending, but for those of you for whom travel is not an option at this time, we will also be there virtually. Because just like blended learning is here to stay, I predict that blended events are here to stay, too! You can talk to our higher ed specialists and technology gurus and experience live demos of our world-class managed services offerings – ResNet, Managed Campus, and Campus Engagement Services – as well as an interactive tour of our higher education technology strategic planning insights report. We’ve also created a mini-theater area and invite you to join us for short 10-minute presentations throughout the exhibit.

To wrap, I just want to mention that EDUCAUSE is taking great care with COVID-19 protocols. EDUCAUSE is requiring all registrants to show proof of vaccination or have a negative COVID-19 test. All participants are required to wear masks and pandemic etiquette messaging/signage will be prominently displayed. Your badge will also display your preference for how people should expect to engage with you.
